Lot 21

Another good starter steer for a family looking for one that should be a problem free, easy to manage and fun to show. Sound, flexible, and good built with nice hair and a good look.

Lot 22

This would be a great steer for a showman needing a stout, sound fat steer that can give them a run without a bunch of hair. I think he checks all the boxes and has a near perfect hind leg. He will stay super sound and have a hip like so many school lunch ladies, this line will never get old.

Lot 23

A really great built, flexible steer that drew the short straw as far as a recip mom is concerned. He has come on so much lately. Great necked and real big pinned with a whole lot of future.

Lot 24

This big burley char steer has so many good elements. He is big backed, huge hipped, sound structured, and should prove to be very easy feeding. He is great legged and really has a fat steer look. This cow has produced champions from Ohio to Arizona.

Lot 25

This red, black footed steer has a lot of upside, but best fits an older more experienced showman. His mother produced the steer that has been shown so successfully by the Campa family in Arizona this year. Culminating in Faith leading the “Beyond the Ring” points series nationally as we speak. Good built, good looking one with a little different twist color wise. He will stay sound, feed good, be cocky and eyecatching, but needs a committed home.

Lot 26

The final steer out of my favorite mating here and this is a good rascal. Big, stout, burley, and a hip like one of my favorite Eminem songs. I would expect this one to have as much potential as any last steer lot ever offered. The last steer lot on the 2021 sale was reserve for Mary Friend at Montrose County and had a very successful jackpot season as well.

Lot 28

It’s no secret that the Fassett kids have had a bunch of success with market heifers in the last few years. They have made a habit of beating the steers pretty often. This one comes from the same program with the same focus. This rip is good and she’s from a proven mating with a ton of cow power behind her. Feed her, I bet I’m right.

Lot 29

Flush mate to lot 7 and 28 and much the same story. Stout, sound, good looking, and cocky fronted. She is almost an exact copy of lot 28 with a more flexible hock. Get her home, apply feed, and hustle. She will do her part.

Lot 30

This pretty blonde has a freak neck, big muscles, and lots of flex and look. Her mother has been a mainstay here for years, always putting a sale calf in the pen. She is a cross over built, good designed young lady with all the looks.
