This little blue roan stud is definitely a hold over, but he is good. Square, cool, sound, and cocky with feet like a plow horse. He is not a summer show steer, but will be very good next winter.

Well, it’s steer sale season again and it’s amazing how time flies. This is the 24th year I’ve sold show calves and it’s been a wild ride! Thank you for viewing this set! All the cattle on the set were born and raised here, except for the lot 12 steer who was raised by our good friends the Elwood’s. We are as excited about this group as any we have ever offered!
The move to our new home has been a challenge but has afforded some opportunities like being able to offer fully half of this set as embryo calves! Most of the cattle were weaned August 13 th and were on creep in the pasture for about a month before weaning. They received Vista Once SQ, Enforce 3, Vision 7 HS, and an injectable Dectomax at weaning. They were also vaccinated with Vista Once SQ, Enforce 3, and Vision 7 HS at branding.
All calves that need dehorned will be done before the sale. We will provide registration papers, if cattle are eligible, on lots bringing more than $4,000.00 at no charge. Those selling for less than that I will ask that you pay the cost.
I will help all I can with deliveries. You may have to pay part of the cost, depending on what it entails. I work very hard to be reasonable. I will trim feet and clip anything we sell at my place at no cost. If I have to travel to clip or trim feet, I will ask for travel costs to be paid.

A great big haired, good built Kolt 45 steer from our good friends, the Elwood’s. He is awesome legged, cocky, cool built, all year sound, and good footed. He acts awesome and would be a great choice for a younger exhibitor.
Lot 13
Little old school pedigree, but a real nice steer, hard to picture because he is as friendly as they get. Good built, good body, big hip, good hair, sound, and just good stock.
Lot 14
Later maturing steer that lived in the lower country and didn’t have creep. He is catching up, but needs a later show date. We thought he was one of the best all spring and held he and his mother here and open to flush on. He will need time and feed, but will be good.
Lot 15
Star headed calf should feed well. Good built, good hair, and just a real solid calf.
Lot 16
This young fellow has some crazy unique pieces. If you like long, freak necked, feet bigger than Brock’s and maybe a few blue roan hairs to keep it interesting, then this one is for you. He is stout, sound, and should feed well.
Lot 17
The best necked, soundest structured, and most flexible of the flush mates. Really cool and complete from the profile, just a really good start up steer for a younger exhibitor.
Lot 18
Another young steer that checks a lot of boxes. Sound, good built, and good looking with body, muscle, and hair. Would be a great fit for New Mexico/Arizona show time frame.
Lot 19
A really good built steer out of a first calf heifer that is a full sib to so many on this sale. Good looking, shapely, and sound for the long haul. I think he maybe a good holdover Angus in the south or a nice project for a younger exhibitor up here.
Lot 20
This red creature makes a great Limmi for NM State Fair or just a real good project. Stout and very good looking. He is our answer to critical race theory and getting back at all the injustices that blacks have done to the industry.
