October 1st – 7 AM
Well, it’s steer sale season again and it’s amazing how time flies. This is the 24th year I’ve sold show calves and it’s been a wild ride! Thank you for viewing this set! All the cattle on the set were born and raised here, except for the lot 12 steer who was raised by our good friends the Elwood’s. We are as excited about this group as any we have ever offered!
The move to our new home has been a challenge but has afforded some opportunities like being able to offer fully half of this set as embryo calves! Most of the cattle were weaned August 13 th and were on creep in the pasture for about a month before weaning. They received Vista Once SQ, Enforce 3, Vision 7 HS, and an injectable Dectomax at weaning. They were also vaccinated with Vista Once SQ, Enforce 3, and Vision 7 HS at branding.
All calves that need dehorned will be done before the sale. We will provide registration papers, if cattle are eligible, on lots bringing more than $4,000.00 at no charge. Those selling for less than that I will ask that you pay the cost.
I will help all I can with deliveries. You may have to pay part of the cost, depending on what it entails. I work very hard to be reasonable. I will trim feet and clip anything we sell at my place at no cost. If I have to travel to clip or trim feet, I will ask for travel costs to be paid.
Stay in touch and I will help all I can!! Let us know when you are going to shows so we can wish you luck and stay updated with your showing season.
The Kolt 45 bull is the real deal, get in now ahead of the curve.
Thank you for your interest; please call or, better yet, come look! We cannot continue what we love doing without your help and success!
Please contact us by call or text with any questions. We don’t live in the best service area so please keep trying both ways.

Lot 23
Lot 24
Lot 25
This red, black footed steer has a lot of upside, but best fits an older more experienced showman. His mother produced the steer that has been shown so successfully by the Campa family in Arizona this year. Culminating in Faith leading the “Beyond the Ring” points series nationally as we speak. Good built, good looking one with a little different twist color wise. He will stay sound, feed good, be cocky and eyecatching, but needs a committed home.
Lot 26
The final steer out of my favorite mating here and this is a good rascal. Big, stout, burley, and a hip like one of my favorite Eminem songs. I would expect this one to have as much potential as any last steer lot ever offered. The last steer lot on the 2021 sale was reserve for Mary Friend at Montrose County and had a very successful jackpot season as well.
Lot 27
Lot 28
It’s no secret that the Fassett kids have had a bunch of success with market heifers in the last few years. They have made a habit of beating the steers pretty often. This one comes from the same program with the same focus. This rip is good and she’s from a proven mating with a ton of cow power behind her. Feed her, I bet I’m right.
Lot 29
Lot 30
