Lot 5

This thing is as friendly as any house pet and will eat anything – from buckets of feed to the paint of a panel and the wood off the wall of the shed. Big paws, tubby gut, hair, and more hair. Out of the 210 Whiskey Ground Zero cow that has generated several with big time banners in their picture. Will be surgically dehorned before the sale.

Lot 6

Talk about head in the clouds presence, huge hipped, good bodied, and good looking. This one is probably the flattest shouldered, biggest pinned one in the sale. Stout, burly, and mature with an awesome easy feeding look!

Lot 7

A truly unique one out of my 123 donor. Stout, big paws, and structure like a tiger slinking through the jungle that Carole Baskin would want to release. He’s good haired for a smoke, great looks, and a really good cow behind him. He isn’t real sure about the idea of becoming a loving show steer so a family with some experience is the best fit. Will be surgically dehorned before sale.

Lot 8

Crazy colored option out of Luke and Kristen’s super successful flush of the 19 cow to Made to Order. Lots of really hard to build parts in one package here. Good, good steer that has gotten better every day. He is a slower learner so an experienced family would be best.

Lot 9

Here is a big, stout good feeding one with a great attitude! He is a twin out of one of my good cows, and had the good fortune of staying with his mom all summer! His poor little brother we call “Lightning Bolt” didn’t find a loving mother but he wandered in our yard all summer. We had some luck with a Hawkeye a couple summers ago in the Corn Husker state, so I made some more. Can be ready for an early show if needed, has a first year family temperment, and is good cattle to boot.

Lot 10

This is a good younger steer that would work well for a September or later show. He is out of the club calf worlds’ best cross for the last several years, Here I Am, out of a good Monoply cow. Big ended calf with body, presence, and hair. He is clean jointed, flexible, and good structured for sure.

Lot 11

A really solid steer out of King Cobra. This steers mother is also the mother of 3’s dam. I told these guys that I thought this one changed more for the better than any of calves on the sale since we weaned. He is built good, sound footed, really square, and powerful. I wouldn’t be surprised if we decide next summer that he was the sale sleeper.

Lot 12

Real good smoke steer, out of 123, that is the most moderate and best haired one of the flush. If he feeds like I think he will, he will make a great fat. Just a good high quality steer. Will be surgically dehorned before the sale.

Lot 13

Some how I was lucky enough to get two white, red eared flush mates out of one of my most proven matings I ever had here. Full sibs to the Munson’s steer that was second Heavy Weight Shorthorn at Fort Worth, the steer that won the shorthorns at Hoosier Beef Congress and was Reseve Shorthorn Steer at Indiana State Fair a couple years ago, and a roan cow at Voloson’s that is kicking up some dust. You fellas in New Mexico won’t even have to dye his ears a weird maroon purple to get him into the shorthorn class. Good steer. Will be surgically dehorned before the sale.

Lot 14

Fire up the swather again, this chromed up rascal comes from the Dowdell outfit but you don’t have to hold that against him. He won’t grow a huge mustache or turn into a redhead. All kidding aside, good solid steer here. He has a crazy high neck set, is big centered, thick ended, and a good set of wheels. This thing is truly unique up front, not really possible to get them any higher necked, and he might choke on an acorn. Out of a really good cow too!
