A big burley strapping steer here that will be easy to have ready early if you need one in June or July. He is big hipped, sound structured, and very good bodied. He is out of a really nice second calver.

Lot 22
Another big, heavy mature steer than can be ready early. Huge hip, back, belly, and feet like my son. He is stout and should be easy feeding. Not the best haired one, but if you don’t have the resources to grow much he’s your guy. He has the pieces to be a tough one to beat at a lot of county fairs.

Market heifer who is a flush mate to lot 1 and 12 on this sale. She is cocky, cool built, and has hip like an elementary school lunch lady. She is huge backed, smooth made, flexible, and sound. She is good enough to play anywhere.

I think this blondie is good as either a market heifer or breeding heifer depending on management. She is stout, sappy, and good built. Huge hair and some of the biggest bushiest ears you will ever find. She is good.

I’d love to see some more of these Black Power Play’s. Trouble is I bred almost an entire cane of this and got this one single calf. I guess if nothing else the clean up bull got some action. A good heifer out of a full sister to the mother of lot 1, 12, and 23. She exceptional in her hip and perfect in her pin set and tailhead. She has swoop to her midrib and is flexible and far reaching on the move. A good balanced, feminine fronted lady with outstanding hair.

Like her maternal brother, lot 10, this heifer is amazingly good in her middle body and flank. She is ultra neat fronted with a really high neck set and is sound, durable, and flexible at the ground. She is younger but has changed immensely in the last few weeks. There is no way you could build a better maternal maine/club calf pedigree. She has outstanding hair and an almost annoyingly friendly personality. Suitable for any showman!

Goodness she strikes a pose! I think this one has all the pieces to be a big time chi/exotic show heifer while still having the genetics to be a cow. Out of a MLC bull originating from Chad Thompson. This chromed up baldie has a lot of really hard to build characteristics. Her intangibles include: perfect flexibility and fluidity in motion, striking good looks in her front third, a swoopy center, and great flank. She is square and ideal in there tail head while possessing mass and power from behind.

This young maintainer heifer is very maternal bred and near perfect from the side as a show heifer. She is very sound and flexible with long term durability on the move. She has a surprising amount of width underneath for one this green and pretty on the profile. Her grandmother is the Walks Alone cow of Luke and Kristen’s’ who is the dam of lots 7, 8, 14, 15, and 30. It’s good stuff. Better suited to an older/more experienced showman.

Without question the best female that Luke and Kristen have ever had out of their Walks Alone cow. Incredibly flexible and sound on the move, immensely big centered and great flank. Stout, square, and smooth with a very high neck and head set. Plus she is really well mannered and a lady on the halter so far. I see her being a very competitive show heifer that has all sorts of potential as a cow!
