These Here I Am things can be a conundrum. They look fury and good early, they shed baby hair late, and because they are hairy they struggle in the heat all summer. They finally shed about a month before you need them hairy to sell and they look bald, green, and rough. Then they all take twice as long to get broke enough to stand on the halter and clip as some other calves. This one is good as a baby, is out of a good cow, sound structured, good bodied, and fairly stout. If you give him a good home, a cooler, feed and management there is a good chance you will look smart in the end.
